Barcelo Karmina Hotel Manzanillo, Manzanillo

The hotel offers stunning ocean views and spacious, clean rooms with a chic modern design, particularly the bathrooms. The garden view overlooking La Hadas is a standout feature. However, some fixtures in the rooms require maintenance, especially in the restrooms.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly comfortable with amazing views, although they could use better ventilation to avoid moisture build-up. The service was top-notch, with the staff being super accommodating and helpful in every way possible. The location was perfect for exploring Manzanillo and enjoying long walks on the beach. The dining options were a bit hit or miss, but overall, I had a fantastic experience.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were better than expected, though they could use some updating. The front entry to the hotel needs some help with vegetation to make it look more 'WOW'. The service was a mix of going above-and-beyond to entertain my son but also had moments of rudeness that left me feeling bad. The location was very nice, with some minor issues like limited seating. The dining experience offered a wondrous variety that kept things interesting. The facilities were generally good.

The resort had some major issues with noise and unhelpful staff, but the overall experience was unbelievable with tropical surroundings and delicious buffet options. Vibrating rooms without any construction warning were a big letdown, but the expansive location offered a diverse dining experience.
